PACC
The PACC consists of six 10-item surveys which assess students’ skill levels in each of the six competencies. These surveys were written by a team consisting of educators, counselors, and psychologists. Survey questions were then vetted with students for readability and understanding. Based on student suggestions and additional team input the questions were revised as needed to assure they adequately assessed each of the Six Learning Competencies of the Hike Your Own Hike curriculum. Student scores on the PACC help to determine the needs of students in each competency area. Ultimately, the PACC guides staff in preparing students for their journey through life by building skills in each area.
